Is Apple really the best fruit to keep the doctor away?

"Apple a day keeps a doctor away" is the something probably everyone has heard of or seen. I used to think it must have some essential vitamins or minerals required for a child's growth both physically and mentally but never thought it tasted like it is hyped.

Apple has been the only fruit I never was big fan of, it tastes slightly sweet and got less juice than a pear. So throughout my childhood I was forced to have an apple or in some way or form was forced to take it once a day supposedly for my better growth. Growing up it has always been in my mind why apple was considered such a fruit that will help you to be healthy and not any other fruits, is it a marketing stunt? or is it just a myth followed down in generations? Whatever might be the case it was not just in my home country but in most of the countries I have visited seems to be the same norm.

Ever since my childhood I used to love bananas, I know this might not be the fruit of choice for everyone but I think it is one of the tastiest fruit there is, it is easier to consume and easy to digest and you can have it anywhere and anytime. Digging down the web, It is reach in potassium vital for the body to grow and doesn't consists of much calories, to be exact 106 calories in a single normal sized banana. If you do a quick google search you can find a number of reason to have a banana but what I want to share with you is the simplicity of the fruit. Easier and convenient to take and much more tastier than the so called king of fruits "apple"

It might seem like I have a bad history with apple but it just the unjust between fruits and maybe a tiny part of me getting annoyed with people for constantly forcing me to acknowledge the greatness of Apple. whatever be the reason bananas always will be the fruit of choice for me than any apple.
